The world’s legacy of historical buildings – castles, cathedrals, monuments and manses – were conceived as artforms in their landscape. Their delineation after dark was achieved from clear moonlight. Nature was the night-light artist.

Such sources of natural light tend to soften and shade, forgiving flaws and signs of dilapidation. We can see that this ancient construct is soldiering on, impressing us with its mass and fortitude while holding close its wounds.
