~ The Gallery Art Light ~
Our Gallery Art Light has been specified for use to light some of the finest art collections, in both private and public ownership. Even where a collection of paintings has been lit with traditional lights for many years past, our Gallery lights – without fail – achieve vastly improved results, to the very genuine delight of their owners and curators.
The lights are customised as standard with head sizes cut to suit the individual painting in 50mm (2”) incremental lengths, from 100mm (4”) up to a massive 3000mm (120”), according to the width of each canvas. Enjoyment of the artist’s work is no longer marred by interrupted items of hardware or patchy lighting – a continuous line of hardware and lighting harmonise with the overall painting size.
BEFORE - Three individual picture lights provide minimal light coverage across the canvas.
AFTER - Our bespoke Gallery Picture Light at 2600mm long provides consistent lighting across the whole canvas - the difference speaks for itself!
There is a generous range of standard colours available, and bespoke colours can also be mixed carefully to match your needs. Sometimes, this just makes all the difference to the overall balance of presentation in a domestic environment.
Gallery Picture Lights at this private residence have been colour matched to blend seamlessly with the wall behind.
These picture lights can be either frame or wall-mounted – and, if the latter, we can even design special mounting bracketry for you. According to the mounting method preferred, variable arm lengths and profiles are also available.
Arm lengths are available in small, medium and large.
Bespoke arms can be made to suit the canvas should it have specific requirements.
The individually lensed LED modules are available in four optical beam angles, which have been carefully selected variably to disperse and spread the light widely, or to project it acutely down a tall canvas. Given that these LED modules are adjustable in positioning along the head as well as in rotational tilt a remarkable level of bespoke tailoring can be readily achieved.
We also offer an on-site tailored service of focusing, which provides an unprecedented level of bespoke lighting results.
With most LED lighting products, the LEDs are built into the metal hardware and form an integral part of the light fixture itself. This means that, when the LEDs eventually fail – which they will – the whole fixture is rendered redundant and the complete picture light will need to be replaced.
This is not the case with our Gallery Art Lights.
Critically important, and unique to our Gallery range of Art Lights, is the fact the individual LED lamps themselves are removable and replaceable.

What this means in practical terms is that your Gallery Art Lights can actually be maintained, in situ, and to the same exacting standards as was achieved at their first installation.

The Royal Yacht Squadron
Revisited more than 10 years after the Gallery picture lights were installed. Some of the LEDs had come to the end of their life and were easily replaced into the existing picture light head with new generation LED modules. A really straightforward process with excellent results.
