The dark night scenes of the Serres Collection at Melford Hall are oil paintings on canvas. So much detail had been lost to the viewer, as evident in the before and after images below.
The portrait of Vice Admiral Hyde Parker, by George Romney, had a concentration of light at the top of the canvas whereas the new Gallery LED picture light covers the whole portrait.
The curators at Melford Hall were delighted with the above transformations and the installation service we provided, commenting;
“It was an absolutely amazing day – thank you so much. We all had a wonderful time and the paintings look absolutely stunning. Everyone is so pleased. You are wizards!”
