InvisiSign – Emergency Exit Sign
InvisiSign – Emergency Exit Sign
The InvisiSign is a new, illuminated Exit Sign which has been specifically developed with the concerns and sensitivities of the heritage sector in mind. The sign illuminates brightly to be clearly visible when activated by mains power failure, but blends in with its background, virtually disappearing, when not actually in use. In all respects of power maintenance and fail-safe performance, the InvisiSign is fully compliant with today’s BS5266 standards.
The sign shows the image of a man running with the options of an arrow Up or down or with the arrow horizontal, direction determined by simply turning the sign around. If you wish to place an order for multiple InvisiSigns please feel free to call us.

The standard green vinyl sign panel is replaced with our own clear acrylic panel, which we etch with the image of the standard Running Man, and with the arrow directionally as required – most commonly downward to indicate the doorway below. Bear in mind that for e.g. corridors where alternative directional guidance is required, the sign is clear – so reversible, and Right can be Left. We insert a filter to deliver the green illumination when the LEDs are activated.
Because the illumination within our sign panel is not being obstructed by the presence of green vinyl covering most of its surface, it is actually considerably brighter than the standard illuminated sign
~Protocol~
An advanced version is available which incorporates a switchable DALI emergency module for the sign’s connection via standard protocols to a central control system. This enables it to report its self-test findings on a monthly and annual basis, and to be linked to and addressed directly by a compatible fire alarm system. If not configured within a DALI network, this sign specification reverts to self-test mode
The unit is available in either a Switchable Maintained/Non-Maintained or as DALI-2 Self-Test Maintained via Mains Switch.
